November 2016 Planning Board Minutes |
MINUTES VILLAGE OF ST. HELENA PLANNING BOARD MEETING of November 3, 2016
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jimmy English. Present were Jimmy English, Gerald Velie, Teresa Coleman, Melvin James, Katrina Banks, Village Inspector Louis Hesse, and attorney Nathan Coleman.
Jimmy Tomosuenas, owner of Coastal Instruments, would like to request that the property located at 2120 Highsmith Road, consisting of 10 acres, be rezoned from I1 to Residential. After discussion by the Planning Board and on motion by Gerald Velie, seconded by Melvin James, the Planning Board unanimously voted to recommend the rezoning. There were no concerns to further recommendations suggested by Attorney Coleman.
The concrete plant located near the intersection of Hwy 117 and New Road requested that they be a permitted use rather than being “grandfathered” in. At the present time, the property is zoned R20. For the change to take place, the concrete plant will have to request that the property be rezoned to I2.
The meeting was adjourned.
