The St. Helena Planning Board met on October 1, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. to review and discuss the U.D.O. (Unified Development Ordinance) and recommend to the St. Helena Council any changes they think is needed.

Attending the meeting were Planning Board Chairman Jimmy English, planning board member Katrina Banks, planning board member Hersey Fennell, planning board member Carey Childress, planning board member Gerald Velie, St. Helena Planner Kim Rivenbark, and St. Helena Building Inspector Louis T. Hesse.

In the audience were Ms. Mary Bakan and Judy Katalinic.

Absent were planning board member Teresa Coleman and St. Helena Attorney Nathan Coleman (no relation).

The planning board went over the "table of permitted uses" which is located in the U.D.O. The NCICS system was discussed. Topics included agriculture, dairy production, storage facilities, fairgrounds, as well as many other possible uses. Several changes were suggested.

Zoning changes were also discussed including the elimination of two zoning districts and resizing of two others.
