Planning Board Meeting

September 1, 2022

6:30 p.m.

Attending the meeting was Chair Jimmy English, Secretary Cary Childress, Planning Board Member Gerald Velie, Planning Board and ETJ member Hersey Fennell, Planning Board Member Teresa Coleman, Planning Board Member Katrina Banks, and COG representative Sam Shore.

In the audience was Jill and Stewart Hunter.

Meeting started at 6:36 p.m.

Sam Shore started meeting discussing the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP). He point out that the Unified Development Ordinance is a regulation while the CLUP is a non-binding policy guide.

Sam passed out draft to survey.

Every other month, the planning board will cover two (2) chapters until finished.

Teresa, made motion to change # 4, 5, and 6 to value of most importance and to paper form as well.

Gerald Velie seconded it. The motion was approved unanimously.

Sam passed our first Chapter binder for members to review and 2 chapter. The planning will come in November for next chapters.
