St. Helena Planning Board Meeting

January 25, 2023

Attending the meeting were Chairman Jimmy English, Planning Board Member Gerald Velie, Planning Board member and ETJ representative Hersey Fennell, Secretary Carey Childress, Planning Board member Katrina Banks, and building inspector Louis T. Hesse. Also present was Sam Shore from the Cape Fear Council of Government. Absent were Planning Board Member Teresa Coleman and Village Attorney Nathaniel Coleman.

Louis brought up that he would like to move the planning board meetings to the 2^nd Thursday or 3^rd Tuesday.

Gerald motioned to move planning board meetings to the 2^nd Thursday. Katrina seconded it. It was approved unanimous.

Meetings will now be held on the 2^nd Thursday of the month.

Sam Shore brought up Chapter 1 and 2 of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) for review.

Sam Shore went over the survey that was sent to St. Helena property owners.

Meeting was adjourned.
