Village of St. Helena Council Meeting

March 15, 2012

Present were Mayor Robert Barnhill, Ron Rampone, Neil Benton, Jim Davis, Nancy Jones, R. H. Corbett, and Louis T. Hesse.

Attending the meeting were Judy Katalinic, Gina Rampone, and Kathy Hone.

Mayor Barnhill called the meeting to order at 6:30 P. M. and prayed.

On motion by Ron Rampone, and seconded by Jim Davis, minutes of February 16, 2012 were approved unanimously.

On motion by Ron Rampone, and seconded by Jim Davis, the financial report was approved unanimously.

Text amendments were tabled until next meeting to give council members opportunity to attend visitation of Willie Knowles.

Jim Davis discussed two bids.  Hutcheson was lowest bidder $7500.  A load of dirt would be extra at $130 per load if needed.

On motion by Jim Davis, and seconded by Ron Rampone, the work was awarded to Hutcheson by three for and one against (Nancy Jones).

Mayor Barnhill asked that budget requests be in by next meeting.

Judy Katalinic made announcement that Mary Alice Southerland was chairperson of the St. Helena Community Center Association.

Ron Rampone and Jim Davis will remove plows from the property recently purchased by the town.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Ron Rampone, the meeting was adjourned unanimously.
