Village of St. Helena Town Board Meeting

April 17, 2014

Present were Mayor Robert Barnhill, Judy Katalinic, Neil Benton, William Hunter, Nancy Jones, Louis Hesse, and Nathaniel Coleman.  Ron Rampone was absent.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, minutes of March 20, 2014 were approved unanimously after making the following change of Attorney Coleman’s statement:

Attorney Coleman stated that his primary concern would be safety and that prior to approving a plan, the Village should require the land owner to consult with appropriate emergency service providers to make sure that they would respond to a residence at the property.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by William Hunter, the financial report was approved unanimously.

Louis Hesse updated the council stating that the Planning Board was working on major and minor subdivisions.

Louis mentioned a mobile home on New Road.

Attorney Coleman commented on the proposed personnel policy.

Judy asked about the budget. The mayor will present a proposed budget at the May meeting. He asked if anyone had any input. There was none.

On motion by Neil Benton, and seconded by Nancy Jones, the meeting was adjourned unanimously.
