Village of St. Helena Town Board Meeting

April 16, 2015

6:30 p.m.

Present were Mayor Pro Tem Judy Katalinic, Neil Benton, William Hunter, Nancy Jones, Kaye Knowles, Louis T. Hesse, and Nathaniel Coleman. Absent was Mayor Robert Barnhill.

Attending the meeting were Alice Southerland and Mike Beacham.

Mayor Pro Tem Judy Katalinic called the meeting to order. Kaye Knowles prayed. Mayor Pro Tem Judy Katalinic asked if anyone in the audience would like to speak.

Mike Beacham asked if the Village could do anything about the ditch in front of his yard. Several accidents on this curve have caused dirt to fill up the ditch causing poor drainage. William Hunter is to check on this problem.  Mr. Beacham inquired about law enforcement in the Village. He also suggested having street lights at two intersections.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Kaye Knowles, minutes of March 19, 2015 were approved unanimously.

On motion by William Hunter, and seconded by Neil Benton, the financial report was approved unanimously.

Louis Hesse discussed solar farms and the family subdivisions recommended by the St. Helena Planning Board.

On motion by Kaye Knowles, and seconded by Nancy Jones, the matter of family subdivisions was tabled until the May meeting.

On motion by Kaye Knowles, and seconded by Nancy Jones, the meeting was adjourned unanimously.
