Village of St. Helena Town Board Meeting

May 21, 2015

Present were Mayor Robert Barnhill, Judy Katalinic, Neil Benton, William Hunter, Kaye Knowles, Louis T. Hesse, and Nathaniel Coleman.  Absent was Nancy Jones.

Attending the meeting were Alice Southerland, John Leimone, and Tommy and Mallory Leimone.

Mayor Barnhill called the meeting to order and prayed.

On motion by William Hunter, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, minutes of April 16, 2015 were approved unanimously.

On motion by Judy Katalinic, and seconded by Kaye Knowles, the financial report was approved unanimously.

Louis said that at the April meeting of the council he brought from the Planning Board a family subdivision item.

John Leimone spoke about dividing 14 acres among three children.

On motion by William Hunter, and seconded by Neil Benton, it was unanimous to schedule a public hearing on family subdivisions at the June 18, 2015 meeting.

Mayor Barnhill pointed out some items in the proposed 2015-2016 budget.

On motion by Neil Benton, and seconded by William Hunter, it was unanimous to schedule a public hearing on the proposed 2015-2016 budget at the June 18, 2015 meeting.

Mayor Barnhill commented that $1,612.26 was received from the ABC Board for the quarter ending March 31, 2015.

Alice Southerland remarked that the Community Center Association was still working to get the Orthodox Church on the Federal Register.

On motion by Judy Katalinic, and seconded by Kaye Knowles, it was unanimous to go into closed session and have the minutes sealed.

On motion by Kaye Knowles, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, it was unanimous to adjourn the closed session and to seal the minutes.

Back in regular session on motion by Neil Benton, and seconded by William Hunter, the regular meeting was adjourned unanimously.
