Village of St. Helena Town Board Meeting and

Budget Public Hearing

June 18, 2015

Present were Mayor Robert Barnhill, Judy Katalinic, William Hunter, Nancy Jones, Kaye Knowles, Louis T. Hesse, and Nathaniel Coleman.  Absent was Neil Benton.

Attending the meeting was Justin Pope with Star-News.

Mayor Barnhill called the meeting to order and prayed.

Mayor Barnhill read the paper notice about the public hearing on the 2015-16 proposed budget.  He asked for comments on the proposed budget.  There were none.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Kaye Knowles, it was unanimous to adjourn the public hearing.

The regular meeting followed.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, minutes of May 21, 2015 were approved unanimously.

On motion by William Hunter, and seconded by Nancy Jones, the financial report was approved unanimously.

On motion by Kaye Knowles, and seconded by Nancy Jones, the 2015-16 budget was adopted unanimously.

Judy questioned the cleaning of the gutters.  Nancy Jones said that Gerald could do it.

Louis Hesse said that the public hearing on family subdivisions was being advertised for the July meeting.

Justin Pope with Star-News is interested in a profile of St. Helena.  Mayor Barnhill commented that the reason for incorporation was to control zoning.

On motion by Kaye Knowles, and seconded by William Hunter, the meeting was adjourned unanimously.
