Village of St. Helena Town Board Meeting

April 20, 2017

Present were Mayor Robert Barnhill, Mayor Pro Tem Judy Katalinic, Neil Benton, William Hunter, Nancy Jones, Kaye Knowles, and Louis T. Hesse.  Absent was Nathaniel T. Coleman.

Mayor Barnhill called the meeting to order and prayed.

On motion by Kaye Knowles, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, minutes of March 16, 2017 were approved unanimously.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by William Hunter, the financial report was approved unanimously.

The mayor commented that a proposed budget would be presented at the May meeting.

Louis Hesse mentioned a solar farm that was being requested which would require a text change amendment to the UDO.

The tax rate and the fire tax were discussed.

Louis said that the house being built on the Leimone property would be sold by the contractor.

Louis pointed out that the UDO stated that homeowner’s outlying buildings cannot be bigger than the house except for agricultural reasons.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, the meeting was adjourned unanimously.
