Village of St. Helena Town Board Meeting

July 20, 2017

Present were Mayor Robert Barnhill, Mayor Pro Tem Judy Katalinic, Neil Benton, William Hunter, Nancy Jones, Kaye Knowles, Louis Hesse, and Nathaniel Coleman.

At the meeting was Alice Southerland.

Mayor Barnhill called the meeting to order and prayed.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Kaye Knowles, minutes of June 15, 2017 were approved unanimously.

On motion by Judy Katalinic, and seconded by Neil Benton, the financial report was approved unanimously.

Nancy Jones wanted the ordinance dealing with solar farms to be corrected to have grass mowed even during construction.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Neil Benton, it was unanimous that the budget be balanced as necessary.

Mayor Barnhill brought up that the fire tax rate for 2017-18 is nine cents.

To repair or replace the air/heat unit was discussed.

On motion by William Hunter, and seconded by Neil Benton, it was unanimous to replace the air/heat unit.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Kaye Knowles, the meeting was adjourned unanimously.
