Village of St. Helena Town Board Meeting

August 17, 2017

Present were Mayor Robert Barnhill, Mayor Pro Tem Judy Katalinic, William Hunter, Kaye Knowles, and Nathaniel Coleman.

Absent were Neil Benton, Nancy Jones, and Louis Hesse.

Attending the meeting were Alice Southerland and Margaret Hulak Brinzey.

Mayor Barnhill called the meeting to order and prayed.

On motion by William Hunter, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, the minutes of July 20, 2017 were approved unanimously.

On motion by Kaye Knowles, and seconded by William Hunter, the financial report was approved unanimously.

Mayor Barnhill commented that he would modify the 2017-18 budget.  One reason was the sales tax.

William Hunter said that Main Street is to be repaired if weather permits.

Mayor Barnhill talked about having the new town hall designed by an engineer.

Alice Southerland stated that the community center would be meeting in September.

Judy Katalinic is to post the updated zoning map she received from Louis Hesse.

Mayor Barnhill asked about the annual waste report and Judy Katalinic answered that it had been submitted.

On motion by Kaye Knowles, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, the meeting was adjourned unanimously.
