Village of St. Helena Town Board Meeting

September 21, 2017

Present were Mayor Robert Barnhill, Mayor Pro Tem Judy Katalinic, William Hunter, Kaye Knowles, Nancy Jones, and Louis Hesse.  Absent were Neil Benton and Nathaniel Coleman.

Mayor Barnhill called the meeting to order.  Nancy Jones prayed.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by William Hunter, minutes of August 17, 2017 were approved unanimously.

On motion by Judy Katalinic, and seconded by Kaye Knowles, the financial report was approved unanimously.

Mayor Barnhill presented an amended 2017-2018 Village of St. Helena budget with changes to sales tax revenue and expenditures to include the purchase of an air and heating system.

On motion by William Hunter, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, the amended budget was approved unanimously.

On motion by William Hunter, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, Hersey Fennell, living in the extra-territorial jurisdiction area, was appointed to the Village of St. Helena Planning Board unanimously.

Louis Hesse was contacted by Rufus and Gatha Rowell about their flood insurance.  They needed an elevation certificate which requires a surveyor.

The mayor inquired about a lot being cleared on Northwest Avenue.

The Harry Thomas home was mentioned.

Louis mentioned the Joseph Keech family home in the Village of St. Helena.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by William Hunter, the meeting was adjourned unanimously.
