November 16, 2017

Village of St. Helena Town Board Meeting

Present were Mayor Robert Barnhill, Mayor Pro Tem Judy Katalinic, William Hunter, Nancy Jones, Kaye Knowles, Louis Hesse, and Nathaniel Coleman.  Absent was Neil Benton.

Attending the meeting was Margaret Brinzey.

Mayor Robert Barnhill called the meeting to order.  Judy Katalinic prayed.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, minutes of October 19, 2017 were approved unanimously.

On motion by Nany Jones, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, the financial report was approved unanimously.

Louis passed out a consideration of an application for a text change amendment.  The public hearing for this will be in January.

Justian Pound, Pender County Tax Assessor, presented information on the 2019 Pender County Reappraisal.

On motion by Judy Katalinic, and seconded by Nancy Jones, it was unanimous to pay $250 to have the hall power washed outside.

Mayor Barnhill asked about refreshments for the December meeting.  This was okay.

Mayor Barnhill asked if Judy would put up the Christmas tree.  She would.

Judy asked if she could polish the hall floor.  It was okay.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Kaye Knowles, the meeting was adjourned unanimously.
