MINUTES

Village of St. Helena Town Board Meeting

December 21, 2017

Present were Mayor Robert Barnhill, Mayor Pro Tem Judy Katalinic, William Hunter, Nancy Jones, Kaye Knowles, and Nathaniel Coleman.  Absent were Neil Benton and  Louis Hesse.

Attending the meeting were Kenny and Karen Barnhill, Cornelia Barnhill, and Katrina and Daniel Banks.

Mayor Barnhill called the meeting to order and prayed.

On motion by Judy Katalinic, and seconded by Nancy Jones, minutes of November 16, 2017 were approved unanimously.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by William Hunter, the financial report was approved unanimously.

Robert Barnhill was sworn in as mayor by Mary Bakan, Village Clerk.

Judy Katalinic was sworn in as council member by Mary Bakan, Village Clerk.

Margaret Brinzey was out of town.  She will be sworn in as council member when she returns.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by William Hunter, Judy Katalinic was appointed Mayor Pro Tem unanimously.

Mayor Barnhill showed pictures of a community center in Wilson’s Mills.

On motion by William Hunter, and seconded by Nancy Jones, the meeting was adjourned unanimously.

After the meeting, refreshments were enjoyed by all.

Margaret Brinzey was sworn in as council member by Mary Bakan, Village Clerk, on Janusry 11, 2018.
