Village of St. Helena Town Board Meeting/ Public Hearing

January 18, 2018

Present were Mayor Robert Barnhill, Mayor Pro-tem Judy Katalinic, Margaret Brinzey, Kaye Knowles, Louis Hesse, and Nathaniel Coleman.  Absent were William Hunter and Nancy Jones.

Attending the meeting was Alice Southerland.

Mayor Barnhill called the meeting to order and prayed.

Mayor Barnhill opened the public hearing by reading the ad from the newspaper regarding the consideration of a text amendment which would remove the size regulations for accessory structures as well as to implement regulations limiting the number of accessory structures per lot to a maximum of 3.

Louis explained the text change during the hearing.

On motion by Margaret Brinzey, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, the public hearing was adjourned unanimously.

After the public hearing was adjourned, the regular council meeting began.

On motion by Judy Katalinic, and seconded by Kaye Knowles, the minutes of December 21, 2017 were approved unanimously.

On motion by Kaye Knowles, and seconded by Judy Katalinic, the financial report was approved unanimously.

Mayor Barnhill reviewed the 2016-2017 audit.

On motion by Judy Katalinic, and seconded by Margaret Brinzey, the audit was approved unanimously.

Mayor Barnhill gave an overview of the new town hall.

On motion by Judy Katalinic, and seconded by Kaye Knowles, the meeting was adjourned unanimously.
