The public hearing was scheduled for October 18, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Village Hall. Mr. Coleman will advertise. Mayor Barnhill asked Mr. Coleman about the county curfew and how it affected the Village of St. Helena. According to Mayor Barnhill, N.C.D.O.T. will pick up Village of St. Helena’s storm debris including vegetative debris (leaves, branches etc.), white goods (refrigerators, stoves, etc.) and construction materials damaged during the hurricane. Residents should put storm debris on the right-of-way of state roads only and away from power lines. The debris should not block vision of roadways. Judy Katalinic asked for permission to pass out flyers telling about debris clean-up. No one objected. Since there was no other business, the meeting was adjourned.
