Village of St. Helena Town Board Meeting

May 20, 2021

Present were Mayor Pro-Tem Judy Katalinic, Councilwoman Margaret Brinzey, Councilwoman Nancy Jones, Councilwoman Kaye Knowles, Councilman William Hunter, Village Clerk Mary Bakan, and Village Attorney Nathaniel Coleman. Absent were Mayor Robert Barnhill, Building Inspector Louis Hesse, and Planner Kimberly Rivenbark.

Mayor Pro-Tem Judy Katalinic presided and called the meeting to order.

Kaye Knowles led the prayer.

Pledge of Allegiance was said to the U.S. Flag and a salute was said to the N.C. Flag.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Margaret Brinzey, minutes of April 15, 2021 were approved unanimously.

On motion by Kaye Knowles, and seconded by Margaret Brinzey, the April 2021 financial report was approved unanimously.

On motion by Kaye Knowles, and seconded by Nancy Jones, it was unanimous to accept funds from the American Relief Plan Act when available.

On motion by Kaye Knowles, and seconded by Nancy Jones, it was unanimous to schedule a budget public hearing on June 17, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at the Village of St. Helena Town Hall.

On motion by Nancy Jones, and seconded by Kaye Knowles, the meeting was adjourned unanimously.
